How it works

Step One: GET PREPARED.
Get to know your MyAllergyTest Kit. Make sure your kit has all of the kit components identified in the directions. Also, read the directions very carefully. If after you have read the directions you are still unsure about how to stick your finger, call the MyAllergyTest help line (800- 807-1968). You should also make sure your Registration Card and Personal Identification Card are filled out properly. The MyAllergyTest Laboratory must receive your Registration Card and your blood sample within 10 days of blood collection. Please write in the date of blood collection on the Registration Card. Finally, wash your hands with soap and warm tap water (not hot). Dry your hands thoroughly.

Step Two: GET A BLOOD SAMPLE
For best results, collect the blood sample before eating or several hours after a meal. High fat meals may affect results. Using the safety lancet provided, you prick your fingertip and place drops of blood into the staw of the blood Collection Tube. Keep collecting blood until the blood reaches the lower edge of the label on the Blood Collection Tube. You will need about 4 to 5 drops of blood.

Step Three: ATTACH THE BAR CODE LABELS
Attach Label 1 to the Personal Information Card. Keep this card in a safe location. You will need your PIN (Personal Identification Number) to get your test results from the Internet. Attach Label 2 to the Registration Card. Write your name on Label 3 and attach it to the Blood Collection Tube, so that the bar code and number ends are back to back, as seen in the picture. Attach Label 4 to the pre-addressed Foil Shipping Envelope.

Step Four: MAIL YOUR BLOOD SAMPLE
Check your Blood Collection Tube. Make sure it is fully closed and that Label 3 is attached to it. Leave the small paper towel in the Bubble Wrap Envelope. Put your Blood Collection Tube into the Bubble Wrap Envelope, and seal well. Put the Registration Card and the Bubble Wrap Envelope in the Foil Shipping Envelope, and seal well. Place in any US mailbox as soon as possible. The MyAllergyTest Laboratory must receive your Registration Card and your blood sample within 10 days of blood collection.

Step Five: OBTAIN YOUR RESULTS
There are two ways to get MyAllergyTest results:
1. On the Internet: Go to www.ImmuneTech.com and follow the instructions. You will need the Personal Identification Number (PIN) (on your Personal Information Card) and your email address.
2. In the U.S. mail: Results may be mailed to the address on the Registration Card
